Cat Enclosures Page 3
This picture shows another cat enclosure without post extenders. The post extenders were removed because the cats weren't trying to climb out. This enclosure has a welded wire metal base as well. The posts again here are the most visible part of the fence line and the material blends in well through a tree line.
When choosing the location for your new fence, be sure to distance your fence-to-be from climbable objects like trees. In this instance, the trees are much too close to the fence line for aggressive cats. If you don't have a choice and have to place your fence within tree distance, use some left over fence material to create a mushroom shaped canopy around the tree. This canopy will help stop your cats when they climb the tree and run into the fence mesh. You can use some small nails or staples to attach the fence mesh and use some fence ties to secure the fence mesh canopy to itself.
