In this cat enclosure, the customer has extra cat fence mesh blocking areas where cats could crawl into and get into trouble. Both the metal mesh and the poly cat fencing is flexible to the point where it can be used to block areas under stairs, decks, foundations, etc. This mesh could be used to also block other areas of concern where your cats may escape. For instance, if you have a low garage roof you could use some mesh to block the area so they wouldn't be able to jump on the roof.
In general, when building your enclosure try and think like a cat - they can be very curious and will try their best to thwart your attempts at enclosing them.
